All rabbits are sold healthy and inspected at time of sale. I only sell rabbits evaluated to be brood or show quality unless prior arrangements are made. I will cancel sales for rabbits that fail health checks or do not seem healthy enough for transport. That being said, I am not responsible for any changes to the rabbits, health or temperament once sold. However, as with any animal, daily contact and attention will help keep your rabbit social and attentive.
I only let rabbits go at age 12 weeks or older. I do not open rabbits for deposits until this time, but folks interested in upcoming rabbits can contact me through Facebook or Instagram to be put on a notification list. People on the notification list will be contacted personally when rabbits become available and have the chance to place deposits before rabbits are posted publicly.
The Rabbit Shack is on a first come, first served basis, and I will not hold a rabbit without a deposit. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. A deposit of 25% of price of rabbit is required to hold any particular rabbit. I accept payment by cash app, Venmo, or Facebook pay. I will hold a rabbit for up to 30 days after a deposit has been received unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. If the rabbit has not been picked up by the arranged date/time at the end of the hold period then the sale is considered forfeited and the animal will again be available for sale. All sales are final once your new rabbit leaves our possession. I cannot be held liable for problems that may arise from our transaction, either directly or indirectly. We always do our best to sell only healthy rabbits.
I do not guarantee that any rabbit is capable of breeding/reproducing or raising a litter.
I cannot guarantee a rabbits' show or breeding results. All rabbits are sold healthy to the best of our knowledge when they leave our rabbitry/property . Health cannot be guaranteed once a rabbit leaves our care due to the nature of disease and how vulnerable rabbits are to stress. Your rabbit is guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. We will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that have been sold. It is your responsibility as a buyer to check over the rabbit at the time of sale.
Rabbits will be sold with transitional feed. We feed IFA 20% feed. If you wish to change to a different feed, please continue feeding our feed for the 4-5 days, then slowly mix with your feed. Please make this change as slow as possible. Changes in feed and environment are stressful for rabbits. Please give them a good week to adjust and avoid over stimulating or over handling your rabbit.
We are happy to answer questions and give ideas and tips on rabbit care.
If at any time you find yourself in a situation where you can no longer keep or want your rabbit, you may return it, or we can try to help you place it in a new home. I appreciate being notified of your decision to rehome so I may keep my records updated.
